AA Charity Logo Chair  IMMD Finish

On September 28, Ray Moran finished the Ironman Maryland race, his first full distance Ironman triathlon, where he swam 2.4 miles, biked 112, and then ran 26.2 miles in 16:16:16, beating the 17 hour time limit. He did this for charity, racing for Ainsley’s Angels, a non-profit organization that organizes endurance races to push special needs children in racing chairs, to help them enjoy the thrill of racing. Ray trained for six months, and swam/biked/ran over 3,500 miles preparing for the event, and was able to reach the fund raising goal to help purchase a new racing chair. Congratulations Ray!
